Printer now connected by wireless, libra office still thinks printer on USB!
Is LibreOffice the only application that thinks the printer is still connected by USB? If not, have you tried to use your Operating System’s device setting tool to change the printer settings?
As far as I can remember, you have to specify the desired connection of the printer when installing the printer.
Also, for many wireless printers there is a setup utility to run, which will both configure the printer for wireless operation (standalone or connected to existing network) and set up the “printer object” on your computer so your software can print to it.
That utility used to come on a CD for most printers, but recently I have seen several printers with an onboard utility which is loaded from the USB connection, possibly in conjunction with an internet download, or you must connect to the printer’s broadcast network to access the utility. The particulars depend on the make and model of printer, which you did not specify. (The operations you need to perform also lie outside the scope of this LibreOffice service, but you are likely to find knowledgeable helpers which may offer guidance).
