chart arrows don't save on Impress

I have a flow chart sort of thing where there are boxes of text and arrows going from one box to the next but every time I close the file and re-open it, the arrows are messed up.

This is a major pain.

When I click drag to fix it and export the report to PDF it looks fine but every time I make an edit to the original report, I also have to click drag the arrows.

Any clue why this is happening? The template I used looks fine.

• Do you save your file as OpenDocument ODF presentation (odp)? Otherwise you should have received a warning to the effect that “saving in this format may lose content/formatting”.
• Is your flowchart-sort-of-thing drawn in Impress or inserted/pasted from a different app?
• Did you use the Lines and arrows or the Connectors tool to draw your arrows?
• Did you use a template that came with LibreOffice, or one you downloaded from elsewhere? Is it an OpenDocument (OTP) template?
