Checking for updates

OS: XP/SP3 LibO 3.6.4

I set up LibO to check weekly for updates. Today I saw that 3.6.5 is already released but my LibO does not show the “update available indicator”. I clicked “check now” (unter Tools / Options / Online Updates and get the message:

LibreOffice 3.6 is up to date.

Question: How many digits of the version number is checked by LibO during the “check now” run?

Thanks in advance

It is not a matter of how many digits are checked.

The update notice is manually updated so there is a delay between the time the new release is available (and announced) and the time the update server starts warning of a new versions.
