Collabora Office for iOS

This is a question about Collabora Office for iOS. If I should ask it elsewhere, please let me know.

Both my wife and I downloaded Collabora Office from the iOS App Store today. She’s on an iPad mini 5 and I on a mini 6.

When she opens an existing or new writer document she has a nice toolbar across the top of the screen. When I open a new or existing document, all I have is a kind of strange character palette toolbar across the bottom of the page. I would dearly love to have her very useful toolbar on my iPad. How do I get it?

It looks like your toolbar has been docked to the bottom of the screen instead of to top.

Not familiar with iOS, so my answer may not fully apply to your case (notably because you have no mouse - perhaps right-click is equivalent to long-click?).

Under more traditional OS’s, right-click on the offending toolbar and uncheck Lock Toolbar Position. Toolbar appearance changes a bit: at its left, you now have a light double vertical stroke. You can now move the toolbar by dragging it to another edge. Drag it to your preferred position. Then, right-click again and Lock Toolbar Position to prevent further move.
