Color Palette Missing

Hi I am using Version: 4.1.2.3 of Libreoffice in Ubuntu 13.10. When I click on the color any dropdown menu icon a menu displays but no colors are shown to pick from. It seems as though the color palette is no loading correctly. It is this way in all the programs in the suite. I tried to uninstall all traces of the libreoffice suite and reinstall but this didn’t help.

Is there a way to restore the color palette? Or is there a setting I accidentally selected?

I am not certain what the problem is, but I would guess it is either a user profile problem (which a reset may fix), or a problem with the Ubuntu-supplied variant (in which case you may want to check launchpad for related bugs).
