Complex X-Y scatter graph error bar challenges

I did make a databasedocument from the spreadsheet.
Then I displayed the data in the datasource.( open it with control-shift-f4).
I did select 5 records.
Copy the records
Did select the complete small table.
Delete the selection
Paste the data in the selection.

It was more easy to do it in this way there I could select by hand the records I want have .

I have now also add the file I did use.

I handel the sample-data-row and the error-data-row as one record for copy. In the small they stay on one line but for the diagram are not the same. It is difficult to explain but I hope that the file will make it clear.

I have made an other document and now I use a standerd filter. I have made an extra column on which I can filter the data.
It is not really stable I do notice now.

I do think that this two following quotes do explain what is most important for NatS, who start this thread, to understand. I did knew it but I did not fully understand it for complicated data. The combination of the table and the diagram acts as a new program. I could not write this simple words when I did make what I named the “table between”. This makes also: you should not drag data to the diagram but you must paste the data to the table what is the source of the diagram.

You can create a chart from source data in a Calc spreadsheet or a Writer table. When the chart is embedded in the same document as the data, it stays linked to the data, so that the chart automatically updates when you change the source data.

Any modifications made to the data within the spreadsheet will also be reflected in the assigned chart.

The wizard for the diagram is really help full but not for the complicated diagram you want need. I am stil not sure I do understand all your problems.
