Conditional formatting changes date to show serial instead

Hello. I am trying to use a formula on a date to set conditional formatting, but when doing so, the date goes from human-readable to serial form:

In the image above you can see what the column to the left has become. It is supposed to be dates, as they appear in the formula box above. Does anyone know how to fix is? Or is it perhaps a bug?

The cell style you applied in the conditional formula does not have the correct number format applied.
In the Styles pane, right click the cell style chosen in the conditional formatting, select Edit and change the number format to your preferred date style or set it to Numbers and under Format to General

I updated Libreoffice and restarted my computer and the problem went away, seems to have been a bug.
