Conditional formatting - one style overrides the other

I’m using Conditional Formatting to apply two different styles for my table.

Each of these styles define a different type of border (one is thicker than the other).

I noticed that the styles are applied properly according to the condition that I wanted, but the thinner border of one style overrides the thick border of the other style.

How do I revert the precedence of the two styles?

Using Liberoffice Calc v7.3.5.2.

Could you please upload an example file?

The problem might be that every cell having a thick border covers the neighbouring thin border.
I’m fairly confident that my example works correctly, but it is a bad idea to visually distinguish cells by border thickness.
