The example extension based on the guide at LibreOffice_config_extension_writing.pdf (documentfoundation.org) is non-functional as far as I can tell on LibreOffice 7.4. Does anyone know why, or what about extensions has changed since this was published that might make it not work?
There is no actual error message (on my non-debug build, anyway), however the functionality of the extension does not seem to be present either.
