Not a super tech-y guy here. I’m trying to build some databases with LibreOffice Base, but it can’t detect the necessary Java program. It reads, “The connection to the data source ‘[NAME]’ could not be established. No Java installation could be found. Please check your installation.” I’ve looked for discussions over similar problems, but nothing that I’ve read has solved the above-mentioned error, and I’ve tried nearly everything. I’ve downloaded earlier versions of Java. I’ve downloaded compressed folders. Nothing has worked. Maybe does it have to do with the newest Mac OS? Please help.
