Using macOS 11.3.1 and LibreOffice 7.0.6.2 I am unable to connect to MySQL database using MySQL(JDBC)
Have tried ODBC as well but get the following error message “The driver class ‘com.mysql.jdbc.Driver’ could not be loaded.”
Despite the driver being shown in the "“Database Connections Preference” pane
Java is loaded and selected and is Oracle Corporation JRE 14.0.2
The MySQL database can be used and edited with MySQL Workbench.
Any help would be appreciated. I know from past experience that there have been problems with Oracle & Apple!!
