Control of the bottom toolbar in the IDE

The bottom line in the basic IDE has 3 unlabeled buttons. Two to shift insert/overwrite mode the 3rd to do something about Digital signature.
It also displays file name, library, module and Ln #, Col #.
So far my explorations have failed to find the name of that toolbar.
Is there any way to disable those buttons?

The tip for the first button is inadequate. It looks like a bug. (Not to mention that clicking the second button does not change the input mode…).

TwoCommands

The bottom bar in the IDE is the Status Bar.

You can tweak the status bar by editing its xml file.

Copy the file statusbar.xml from

<program>\share\config\soffice.cfg\modules\BasicIDE\statusbar\

to your user profile

<user>\config\soffice.cfg\modules\BasicIDE\statusbar\

Open the file in an editor and change values, delete entries or simply mark them as inactive (comment out). You could change the order of commands too.
