Converting pptx to pdf in specific versions

I am encountering issues when converting specific .pptx files to PDF format using the soffice command-line tool. While the conversion completes without any errors, some formatting elements in the output PDF are inconsistent or altered compared to the original presentation.

soffice --headless --infilter="Impress MS PowerPoint 2007 XML" --convert-to pdf "test.pptx"

  1. Which are “some”? The presentation is 71 slides long. Should others try to compare each element on each slide piece by piece, to try to guess what’s wrong?

  2. What is “original presentation”? The look of LibreOffice showing on the same system where you do the conversion? (which would be a conversion issue) Or how MS PowerPoint shows it on a different system? Or on the same system? And which system that is? And are e.g. all used fonts present?

A screenshot with a comparison would be good.

And note, that while the question has “in specific versions” in its title, the only place where we can learn about any versions involved is the PPTX’ own docProps/app.xml, which tells us, that the file was created using “Microsoft Office PowerPoint” version “16.0000”.
