Being new to Libreoffice, I often use the Microsoft Word method of copying text boxes in Libreoffice Write:
That is, select the text box, drag it to the required location whilst holding down the ‘Ctrl’ key (to copy) and optionally hold down the ‘Shift’ key as well to constrain the copied text box in the ‘x’, ‘y’ or 45 degree direction.
This works fine, except the copied text box does not appear! 
To make it appear I have to save and re-open the document OR simply place an additional ‘Return’ in a line above the location of the text box and then delete the line.
- Is this method an undocumented feature?
- Is there a better way of refreshing the screen etc to make the copied text boxes appear?
(Still using Version 5.0.5.2 because it gives me less problems.)
