Copying a formula into another sheet, and seeing it

Sheet2.A1 needs to “live list” the formula used in Sheet1.C1. (In other words, when the formula used in Sheet1.C1 is changed, Sheet2.A1 needs to update to reflect that change.)

The way I tried to do it displays, in Sheet2.A1, the content (“merge the contents of these two cells”) rather than the formula (=A1&" "&B1) used in Sheet1.C1.

What do I need to do to see the formula instead?

Did you try the FORMULA() function?

I wasn’t aware of that function, and of course it does work as expected. Thanks!
