Hi. I would love to know, whether there is a possibility to copy things into other sheet automatically. What do I actually mean? The screenshot from MacrosPage sheet is a pre-made Macros-run copy of data from the software that we use to know, which trains and which wagon numbers are coming to the depot. As you see, there are multiple columns, such as “comes”, “train”, “order” and track. I cannot change this file, as it was given to me by my employer with pre-made Macros. When you look at the second screenshot, you see the paper that we print for our employees. Unfortunately, every day we have to copy the wagon numbers from the MacrosPage sheet to WorkSheet. Is there any possibility to automate the process, so after the MacrosPage is done, the data with the wagon numbers is transferred to another sheet? So, the most important here is to make a logical test, because sometimes copied data contains wrong wagons. For example, train 10 cannot even theoretically come with 1 wagon, so it can come with at least 3 wagons. And I have already automated filling in data about trains, their numbers and coming times. So, the most important to copy the wagon numbers right. Thanks in advance!
Could you edit your initial question and upload an example Calc file that has both sheets? Speaking very generally if your output (employee) sheet has the fixed 14 spaces for wagon numbers in each of the slots (like 785 R.721), and the slots are fixed, then it seems relatively doable.
(I’ll say that it is surprising that your rail control software can’t export the employee sheet you need directly.)
