COUNTA returns TRUE/FALSE instead of counting cells

I want to count the number of cell in selected columns (e.g. COUNTA(B2:L2) ), but instead of returning the number of cells with texts, it just returns FALSE or TRUE (in case there is a cell with the text in range).

It is obviously not the way this function should work. Does anybody have a solution for this issue?
My LibreOffice version is 5.0.3.2

Perhaps it’s only a format cell issue, test appling [Ctrl+M] to the cell to clear the Boolean format.
