Crash and lose files

Hi!
Libre office crashes when using Calc and running a file from SCB.
When restarting the Libre office is just running a few programs for half a second then restarts and running for another half second
When running Activity handler some Open office programs are running and one of them was using 30 % of CPU, other programs almost zero %. When stopping that Open office subprogram I could restart Libre office but now it has a light blue bar telling I’m using Libre office for the first time and all lists of files previously used are just gone.
And those files that were supposed to be saved have just vanished into the thin air.

So there seems to be some bugs helre

1. does not save my work as promised and
   2 Restarts the program as a newly installed program with no previous files present.
   By the way, I would like to have a history of files to be at least 100 instead of the present 25 max files to be reopened.

Is something preventing LibreOffice from writing to disc? Anti-virus maybe?

I am assuming you are using Windows 10 but please provide more info, see Ask Getting Started. Cheers, Al

I wrote the above badly.

Something is preventing LibreOffice from writing to disc. Anti-virus maybe? Add soffice.bin to the list of allowed programs in the anti-ransomware settings or Controlled Folder Access

If you are on Mac then it could be the system security preferences.

I am assuming you are using Windows 10 but please provide more info, including what anti virus see Ask Getting Started. Cheers, Al
