Cannot open documents of any kind. LO reports crash every time.
Please try resetting the user profile, sometimes solves strange issues.

Usually it’s enough renaming/deleting the file “user/registrymodifications.xcu”, it affects all the options in Menu/Tools/Options, and the files “user/basic/dialog.xlc” and “scrip.xlc” are overwritten, additionally custom colors in “user/config/standard.soc” are lost.

Tools → Options → View → unchecked ‘Use OpenGL for rendering’
But if LibreOffice crashes before you can enter the menu use ‘Safe Mode’ (from Start Menu) and check dot with ‘Configuration’ and then be sure to use checkbox ‘Turn off hardware acceleration (OpenGL, OpenCL)’.
After that click the last button ‘Apply changes and restart’.

This was EXACTLY the solution I needed for the issue. Fresh install of Win10 home 64bit build 20H2, fresh install of Libre Office 7, causing crash of graphics on an HP Desktop with AMD R5 Graphics. Remove/Reinstalling & repairing did nothing to correct the issue. Safemode & disabling acceleration fixed it. Thank you very much! I’m a PC tech that has been installing some form of Open/Libre Office on multiple PCs for more than a decade & this was a puzzler.
