Create multicolumn ordered list

I would like to know if/how to create a multi-column ordered list.

Something like in the picture works with a section (Insert → Section…) that has 2 columns.

Please reopen your question to better describe the goal.

Do you want newspaper-like multicolumn layout? Text flows to next column when bottom is reached (see @PKG’s commetn)
Do you want a list spread in a multicolumn table? In this case, what is your ordering criterion?
Do you want a list where different levels align on specific distances from left?

Do not forget to mention OS name, exact LO version (“latest” means nothing) and save format. And give use some idea about your formatting skills, notably your knowledge about styles.
