Create perfect circle inside (square) cell in writer table?

Hello, as per title… I want the circle to fit inside the square, contacting the borders of the cell on the top, sides and bottom (but not corners), as it would if its diameter were the same value as one of the square’s sides.

Is there any way to do this other than by inserting an image then dragging/resizing it to fit inside the square? I’m looking for a “perfect” result; I don’t want there to be any inconsistencies e.g the circle not quite being centered in the square etc.

• Writer: Table: 3 cm x 3 cm table cells; fixed width of table, columns, rows; borders padding = 0; border padding → (entire table selected) table properties → Borders → Padding :: 0-0-0-0 (each side)
• Optionally: Center cells horizontally and vertically
• Draw:* Circle: 3 cm x 3 cm (protected size); size protection → (circle selected) properties (=position and size; tab to Position and Size) → adjust size of 3,00 cm x 3,00 cm → Protect :: size; when clicking Protect every other values are shaded and no more to be altered; protection can be set on/off
• Draw: Copy circle to clipboard (CTRL + C or CTRL + X)
• Writer: Insert circle from clipboard as Drawing Format (simply STRG + V - size remains protected) and additionally anchor as character (stable anchoring)

*Additum: You can create the circle in Writer as well and apply size protection. Then proceed similarly to above described steps.

Awesome, just a few questions:

1. What is “border padding” and how do I adjust it in writer?

2. How do I “protect” the size of the circle I create in draw? Is it protected automatically? Can protection be set on/off?

3. When you say “Insert circle”, how should I go about doing that? I can’t see an option for “Insert circle” in the Insert menu…? I take it copy/pasting won’t keep size protected…
