Creating Impress slides from a .CSV file

I have a .cvs file I would like to use to create slides. Three entries , or columns. per line:
slide title, Name of talk, speaker
My question is what would be the best way to accomplish this please? Should I use the file to create an outline in Writer and “send to presentation”, or use a macro? If there is a handy python script or plugin I don’t know about, I am up for using that too.
If it helps, the resulting slides will be used in an upcoming open source conference.
Be well.

I have not used Impress much, so I can’t comment on that side of the transformation.
.
To access the .csv you could simpli register the folder with the file(s) as Text-Database. All files in the folder are then tables of the database. This Tables you can use as source for a database-report in Base or (similiar) for a mail-merge, wich can be directed to a single .odt-File.
.
You would then have a formatted Writer-file (or a pdf, if you prefer), to be converted to Impress.

I will check that out and report back here. Thank you Wanderer!
