Creative Fonts & Nicknames: Any LibreOffice Extensions or Tricks?

I’ve been working on a personal hobby project where I generate creative nicknames and text styles using different Unicode fonts and symbols. It’s mostly for gaming usernames, social media profiles, etc.

Now I’m wondering:
:point_right: Is there any way to use special Unicode fonts or text effects directly inside LibreOffice Writer or Impress?
:point_right: Are there any LibreOffice extensions or macros that help with creative typography, symbols, or custom font styles?
:point_right: Also open to any tips on how LibreOffice handles complex Unicode characters — some fonts display them differently.

No. You need to install the font(s) and ensure they support the Unicode characters you want. LibreOffice will use a substitute font (often Open Symbol) to supply a character not supported in the current font.

LibreOffice gets its fonts from the operating system, it doesn’t use them directly from an online resource
