How do you begin to write outside of a text box you pasted into document? I saw someone posed this question earlier but no sufficient answer provided.

If you mean text box (or frame) in Writer, then you can use your mouse to click outside it. Or, if inside the text box with no text selected, you can press Esc once to select the text box itself, press Esc a second time to place cursor in the body of the document.
