Dark gtk themes button visibility Ubuntu Libreoffice 5x

I have trouble seeing the buttons when running dark themes on Ubuntu. The Firefox themes only covers the top bar and not the sidebar.

Is there a way to force a different GTK theme or a workaround of sorts?

(There is a critical bug at this moment preventing me from using the snap which would be the obvious choice)

I found a theme changing the icons.

For me this was the answer.
