Since it seems I should be entering data in a form, how do I make the form look the way I want when I go to use it, as far as its onscreen appearance both for preference and ease? Size, background color, filling the whole screen instead of having to scroll from one end of the form to the other, etc., etc.? Thanks.
Hello,
This was mentioned already but I’ll present again. The Base documentation presents a lot of helpful information for people just starting out. No one can tell you how to make a form look the way YOU want since only you know how you want it to look! Each of us has our own preferences as to how something works and reacts. This applies to other items such as size & colors. You design the form the way you want it to look and operate.
Documentation is KEY! I’ve been reading various Base documents for years. There is always something else to find out.
Here is, again, a document appropriate - click here. Chapter 4 - Forms.

Starting Base seems difficult. You must attempt some of this on your own. When you run into a specific problem, such as “How do I get a listbox field to display multiple fields?” or “How to have a form display in full screen?” then ask the question here.
Finally here is another post you should read - Guidelines for asking
Also, if you are looking for Base samples, there are numerous posted on the forum. Select the tag Base (in right column) and search on sample. It won’t be too hard to find in some answers. I’ve posted many just in the past few years ranging from simple to complex.
