Using 25.2.2.2 on Windows 10.
This should be easy, but I’m baffled. I just want to adjust my default margins. Guessing this would be the Default Page Style? I can change the documents margins, no problem, but I want the default to be changed, so I don’t have to do this with every new document… Swear I’ve done this in the past, but my v25 install required manual removal of prior versions, so I’ve lost all my preferences.
Set up a blank document with the margins you want and any other settings or styles. Then click *File - Templates - Save as template. When the dialogue opens, assign a category, my templates is good, give it a name and tick the box Set as default template. OK
Every new document will have the margins and other settings that you made.
If you no longer need it as the default template then click File - Templates - Manage templates, in the dialogue, right click the template and click on Reset default
Windows hides the folder %APPDATA% by default, but it should be included in backups as it holds many importand informations: LibreOffice user profile, Thunderbirs emails, bookmarks from Mozilla etc…
