Defining multiple COLUMNS

I am having trouble getting my single COLUMN, two page calc sheet into a single page, two COLUMN sheet.
All the references to “column” seem to refer to the column/row navigation rather than to splitting a single group of columns into two or more COLUMNS. Where do I find information on the type of COLUMNS which I am concerned with?

So far, the only information I can find is concerned with duplicating rows within a COLUMN, which I am not concerned with.

In Excell there was a button at the top of the page showing multiple COLUMNS. Is there a similar function in LibreOffice Calc?

Do you need one page - two columns just to print? Set the page format width to half the width of the actual page, and print two pages per sheet.

Just select and drag.
If do you need to replicate the columns width, first select and copy the entire source columns and paste the formatting in the destination columns.
