How do you get the degrees symbol in Math? I have searched and found instructions that don’t work. Is there really an answer to this?
I tend to write out the equation text in writer and then select it and click Insert > Object > Formula object which converts it to a formula. In that case I can use the Writer special characters dialogue box (type degree in the Search field), type :degree: (in English (UK)), or just enter the code U+00b0 and press Alt+X immediately after to get ° . The last one works directly in Math as well as does pasting °
Type °
on your keyboard. You didn’t mention your OS, LO version nor local language, so I can’t give more specific advice.
In case you have no °
key, you can type U+b0
(letter b + digit zero) and immediately Alt
+x
.
