I have received a spreadsheet saved as .xlsx (possibly created with Excel) with cell borders. Some of these borders appear diagonally, although this is not the expected outcome.
In the (reduced) sample file it is in the F2 cell.

Clear direct formatting works, but it seems to be an import bug.
It is related with the text orientation (359°).
But Format Cells also show a background color not visible in the cell.

In Excel, after opening the file, it is shown “normally”. If you enter some value into A1 (for example, A), then a diagonal appears instead of text.

With the Reference edge set to “Text Extension Inside Cell” the background color is shown.

So, here is a bug.
The numbers writen in column A (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10) are the degrees for Text Orientation:

that’s no bug but empty fields/variables in formating the cell: no value in angle, no value in alignments. I set it to null (zero) or “standard”, so the artefact does go away
Maybe is the intended behavior (not a bug), but in my samples there are no empty variables.
