As the title says, I am getting spelling errors for any and all possessive nouns (words ending in ‘apostrophe s’). I’d typically expect any built-in dictionary to accommodate for that. But if there’s anything I can do to avoid having to add every word I make possessive to the dictionary, that would be appreciated.
The possessive isn’t flagged as an error for me with English(UK), English (USA) nor English(NZ)
Is your spell checking working at all? Make sure that the language in the status bar at the bottom matches that of your spell checker.

Click Tools > Options > Languages and Locales > General and set your Default Language for Documents to your preferred language. Check that it has a green tick to show the spell check dictionary is installed.

I did some tinkering, and it seems that it’s the WritingTool plugin that I installed that is marking possessives incorrectly. The default Hunspell Spellchecker passes over them just fine. Sorry for not mentioning using a non-standard plugin. I’ll mention the issue on the WritingTool GitHub. Thanks for your time.
