How can I set so that all documents in all applications are saved without a preview image by default?
Go to Tools | Options | LibreOffice | Advanced and click on Open Expert Configuration. If you are on Mac, Preferences | LibreOffice instead of Tools | Options
Search thumbnail and in the results you’ll see under Save Document the option Generate Thumbnail. with a boolean value of true. Simply double click true to toggle to false.
