With LibreOffice 6.1.1.2 (and prior versions going back at least a year), when I scroll down the text gets garbled and takes time to eventually settle.
Is there a fix for this? Alt+Tab to another application and back corrects the picture. But scrolling makes it blurred in this way again.
I have the same problem with 6.1.5.2 on OSX Mojave.
You could try the latest releases, but note that these also have other font rendering issues tdf#122218.
What you are reporting seems to be linked to tdf#46988, where a decision was taken to deliberately remove a “smooth scrolling” option from the macOS version of LO, in order to vastly improve performance, and as it turns out, doesn’t even appear to work anyway on other OSes.
