Document word count not displayed
If you really expect a sensible answer, edit your question to add minimal context: OS name, exact LO version (and save format). Since this is mainly a UI issue, which UI have your chosen: the standard interface or some tabbed or ribbon one?
Please, please, considering the total lack of information in the question, don’t answer with a “solution” or comment, but modify the question. Do it quickly because the site engine locks this possibility rather quickly (I think it is on the order of the hour or half an hour).
If you have the menu active there is a toggle in menu “view” (checkbox in front of “status bar”).

Sometimes, after you resize the LibreOffice window, you must close the document and reopen it for the status bar to work properly.
