Does Libre Office work with Apple Air Print?

I want to get a Brother printer. They no longer have printer drivers. They recommend using Air Print or Brother iPrint & Scan. I read on the Brother website that before printing a document using iPrint & Scan, the document needs to be named & saved as a PDF file. I don’t want to have 2 copies of the same document - DOCX & PDF so iPrint & Scan isn’t my first choice. I want to click on File & then click on Print without going thru the extra steps. I’ve never used Air Print. I’ve always used a USB connection between the printer & the computer. I wonder if Air Print is easier to use than iPrint & Scan. I guess that iPrint & Scan uses Air Print.

Is Libre Office compatible with Air Print?

This link says CUPS drivers are available in general, https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/83940/~/add-a-printer-driver---macintosh

It also says there is reduced functionality using just AirPrint That seems out-of-date

The apple store iPrint and Scan page shows screenshots of other files, including .docx, available for printing, at least from iPhone.

BTW saving in non-native format will bring conversion errors and loss of features not supported by that format, e.g character styles. Always save in ODF format; if you need to send to someone who can’t afford LibreOffice then Save a copy in other format only for sending.
