Does LibreOffice have the ability to block watermark URLs ?
A watermark URL, embedded in the document, is used to load a non-visible object (i.e., pixel graphic) when a document is opened for the purpose of access tracking.
Tools → Options → LibreOffice → Security → Security options and warning → Options... → Block any links from documents not among the trusted locations (see Macro Security) (see help page for explanation).
