Does LO use activex?
For security reasons, I do not want activex on my Win7 64-bit PC.
MS IE and MS Office do install activex. Does LibreOffice?

There exists an legacy ActiveX tool, to show LibreOffice documents in MS Internet Explorer. But that tool is disabled as default. So as long as you do not explicitly choose it while installing LibreOffice, there is no ActiveX installed.
