How do I downgrade to 5.1.6 from 5.3.0 on Windows 10? I need to keep my toolbars, templates and customization.
The reason is that things have been broken, and I need a version that works.
What is broken, you might ask:
The vertical ruler doesn’t show any numbers regardless of which units I choose.
Pasting formatted text doesn’t work when text is copied from many formerly-working applications
Thanks, Zeca. My toolbars and templates are still there (I backed them up though, JIC), but it trashed some of my settings, from Tools | Options.
One other broken thing is the document shadow color (always black, without gradient).
ALSO: Though I am posting in English, and all websites display in English, the reCPATCHA text and dialog are in Spanish.
The reCAPTCHA text and dialog are actually coming from a different website.
And that website thinks you want to see Spanish.
If you’re happy to downgrade you need to unistall LibreOffice 5.3.0 using the control panel. Once uninstalled, just intall LO 5.1.6.
