In LibbreOffice Draw: Object (for example a rectangle) Position and Size options:
“Adapt - fit width/height to text”
option is locked (it is in grey color).

How can I use this function?
I couldn’t find answer to this question anywhere on the internet either. But here’s how to solve this problem:
- Edit text inside the shape.
- While editing, open context menu, choose “Text”.
- Check options: “Resize shape to fit text” and/or “Word wrap text in shape”.
“Fit width/height to text” options will still be grayed out, but you should achieve what you want.
