Duplication of form controls not duplicating

I am trying create forms using LibreOffice Writer. Libreoffice 25.2.2.2, Windows 10.

I have created a control, set it up as a standard, size font etc, and hen copied it and change it as necessary for other controls.

i.e the original control has a default text of “Town/City”. When copied, the control properties dialogue has “Town/City” in the default text box, but the displayed control is blank.

For others the default font is Arial, 10pt, bold. When copied, the control properties dialogue has Arial, 10pt, bold in the font box, but the displayed control is not bold.

A currency control is white text on a black background (Libreoffice is in dark mode), but when copied, this control is black on a white background.

I have checked the control properties many times, and everything is as it should be, but what shows on the screen does represent what is in the control properties.

Can someone shed some light on this please.

Louise

The currency control problem is probably linked to the use of dark mode theming. Do you still see the same problem in light mode theme.

There may, or may not, be a bug report about this (rings a bell), maybe search in bugzilla to see if anyone has reported it, and if not, create a new bug report.

Another possibility is that you have the Skia hardware acceleration activated in LO Tools-Options, but that this option is incompatible with your graphics chip.
