Eliminate read-only content

I imported a table into my document. When I tried to modify it or delete it, I was prevented from doing so. I get the message “Write-protected content cannot be changed. No modifications will be accepted.” How do I remove this document from my document???

Select the concerned cells then Table▸Unprotect Cells (orRight click▸Cell▸Unprotect in older versions of LibreOffice)
