If I want to send a document by using “Send Document” from any LO application, the email window is never focussed.
Any keystroke alters the open document instead beginnig to type the amail adress in the recently opened window. Logically next step after clicking “Send Document” would be to fill in the email address(es) and not writing in the LO document. Even sometimes some changes are saved unintentionally.
Isn’t there a way to make this little step more logical and useful?
That works for me with LibreOffice 3.x/4.x (tested: Writer), Thunderbird 17.0.6, WinXP.
Apparently this is “focus stealing prevention” OS feature, and working around it, though possible, requires too many effort. By the way, I like it better that way then appearing from nowhere windows “do you want to corrupt something” with focus on “yes” exactly before I press Enter or Space (which happened to me many times on XP). I just watch the screen and Alt+Tab (or Alt+Shift+Tab) when needed (after “Send document”).
