I have a document with images as external linked images. I need to send/share the document so need to embed images into the document. What’s the right way to do that? Maybe an addon? or a bug/feature request?

at Extract embedded images and replace embedded images with linked images: PicExtract » Extensions
I see this:
To re-embed the extracted images into the document you can use LibreOffice’s builtin “edit”->“links”->“break links”.
