Trying to print #10 and #6 envelopes in LibreOffice Writer 3.5 in Ubuntu 12.04 on HP Officejet Pro 8000. The first 1/2 inch from the left of the sender’s address is chopped off. I’ve tried every combination of printing options both via the insert menu and creating an envelope style without any luck, e.g. with and without form controls, each of the printer language types, with and without a frame for the sender’s address. I can’t find a way to rotate the envelope 180 degrees to avoid the problem that way. I did not have this problem with earlier versions of LibreOffice and OpenOffice before that. Envelopes print fine with MS Word on the same printer.
This appears to be a change that occurred in version 3.6. LO for some reason appears to have reversed the “non-printable” area parameters for top and bottom margins.
I have a Canon mg5320 and see a 1.47 inch cut-off. My solution, at least for now, was to select a 180 degree rotation in the printer driver parameters.
It is a pity that sometimes good feature disappear.
Did you try to set a margin around the envelop to limit the printing range?
