Error message: No default printer found

Using LibreOffice Writer 3.562 - is not recognizing my default printer. The previous version of Writer did, but 3.562 is not. When I click File > Printer Settings, to try and set up the printer, it doesn’t show any printers, although XP does recognize my default, serial, HP 1100 printer.

Suggestions?

One thing you can try is reset the user profile: wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile, many times solves strange issues.

LibreO 3.5.6.2 is the truly stable version now. Try resetting the user profile: wiki.documentfoundation.org/UserProfile
