I realize that my problem is highly OS/Printer specific. I run Linux-Mint 17.3 and have a Lexmark C543dn as network printer. Previously, while running Windows XP . . .10 the printer worked fine. I managed to get it to work with LibreOffice Write on Linux for normal output (printer language: pdf). But trying to print envelopes, having set up the format lege artis, the printer complains: ERROR:/configurationerror/OFFENDING COMMAND:/setpagedevice/STACK:/–nostringval–/false/649/459/0/0/649/459/–nostringval–/5// (’/’ stands for new line)
