Greetings.
I am running LO 7.3.7.2 (latest with Linux Mint) and have an SMB share setup on TrueNAS Core. I can save LO files locally, but when I try to save them to the SMB share I receive the error “Error saving - General Error. General input/output error”. I can open filed from the share, but not save them. This is a problem only with LO as I can save files to the share with other applications and I can copy files to the share from Linux Mint. I do not have this problem using LO on my other computers running macOS. I also tried this with LO 7.6 with same results. I do not have this problem saving to NFS mounts, so it appears to be an issue with LO and SMB.
I auto mount the share with /etc/fstab with the following options:
credentials=/home/john/.smbpassword,iocharset=utf8,uid=john,rw,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,nobrl
Reading various google threads led me to add the rw,file_mode=0777,dir_mode=0777,nobrl options to no avail.
Any help is appreciated.
