This is a document I’ve been adding to for years and it’s always been fine. At present it’s 68 pages long but every time I open it there are blank lines added. The first time I open it there might be 1 or 2 lines every so often throughout the document. If I don’t remove them the next time I open it there might be 3 or 4 lines in each spot where they were removed previously. Again if I don’t go through the entire document and remove them there might be blank lines the next time until the document is 83 pages long. It’s getting quite tedious to remove lines in a long document every time I open it. What is going on here? I’ve been using Windows 7 both before and after this began.
Which operating system, LO version, and file format are you using?
I’m using Windows 7, Libre Office version 4.0 document format.
Perhaps refer this thread regarding problems with additional carriage returns being added when using the DOC file format.
