Hi, I have the same issue in Linux Mint. So, every time I open it, it crashes with no reason. I tried opening the program and whenever I try to go to writer, impress or any other similar, I press only one key and it crashes again. I have made many things that are listed on Internet since checking OpenJDK, reset user profile, uninstall and install again… The libreoffice version is 5
There are too many possibilities of what the problem may be based upon the information provided.
Things to try:
-
Try to create a new embedded Base file. Does that crash?
-
Reset the user profile - instructions here
-
If macros involved, try running with them disabled
Other questions:
DB type: embedded, split, external?
LO version - v5 is way to general (now includes 5.0.x.x thru 5.5.x.x) as problems can arise in one and gone in another.
Recently updated LO?
Is LO a distro version?
Any changes to Java class path?
