Excell spreadsheet opened in LO Calc cannot undo selection list

I opened an .xlsx file using LO Calc. The heading for each column includes a drop down selector for a selection list. The cells are set ‘All Values’ in validity but I am unable to remove the selection list option for the fields. Is this a bug or I am missing something
